Optimize your Libby TBR list!

Submitted by Meredith Causey

Did you know that you can have 10 eBooks/eAudio books checked out at once on Libby? Did you know that you can only have 15 eBooks/eAudio books on hold at one time in Libby?

If you're like me, you may have browsed those interesting titles and placed a suspended hold and forgot about it. Instead of suspending holds indefinitely, simply tag it!

An informational graphic from the Libby library app with a deep magenta background and white and teal text. At the top, a large headline reads, "Want to save a title to read later? Tag it in Libby!" Below the headline, an image of a smartphone shows the Libby app interface featuring the book cover for Say You’ll Remember Me by Abby Jimenez. A teal arrow points from a "Tag" icon on the phone screen to a numbered list of instructions on the right. The instructions are: Find the title in Libby. Tap the Tag icon, then New Tag... Name your tag "To read" (or similar). Tap Create. A concluding note states: "Success! You’ve created a tag and tagged a title. You can find your tags by tapping the Tag icon in the footer." At the bottom left, a URL provides a link for more help, and the Libby logo is positioned in the bottom right corner.

How to use tags to keep track of what you want to read, liked, disliked, and more:
  1. Find the title in Libby.

  2. Tap the Tag icon, then New Tag...

  3. Name your tag "To read" (or similar).

  4. Tap Create.
