Programming Picks for May 31-June 5, 2022. 


Summer is in full swing this week! We’ll be hosting kickoff events, special performers, and welcoming families to the library for our first summer since 2019. Don’t forget to check out the full calendar of FCPL events for all ages. Happy summer everyone!

What: Book Talkers - FCPL's Online Book Club for Adults

Where: Virtual - Google Meet

When: Wednesday, June 01 2022, 5:00pm - 6:00pm

Book Talkers is a virtual book club for adults with no assigned titles. To further FCPL's #WeKnowBooks theme, we invite patrons to attend and share what they have read recently. At FCPL, we know our patrons read a lot, and Book Talkers provides an opportunity for everyone to discuss what they've been reading without the pressure of reading a specific book.


What: Tiny Acrylic Pour on Canvas - Tiny Art Workshop for Adults

Where: Post Road

When: Thursday, June 02 2022, 6:30pm - 7:30pm

All adults are invited to four Tiny Art Workshops in June. Finished work will be showcased in the Post Road Tiny Art Show all summer. This workshop is about how to do an acrylic pour on a tiny canvas. 


What: Using Sonar Equipment for Fishing - Southern Fishing Series

Where: Cumming

When: Sunday, June 05 2022, 3:00pm - 4:00pm

With new Side and Down Scan imaging, anglers can search to depths of 300 feet and to the sides of the water column 300 feet each way. Join Ken Sturdivant to learn how to use sonar technology to your advantage while fishing.
