Summer Reading officially launches May 25! Patrons can begin reading, logging, completing activities, and earning points. Early registration has been open since May 1 and we already have 1,241 patrons registered! Summer Reading programming will kick off on May 31 and summer is back in full force this year with a full calendar of programs including special performers, teen nights, and adult program series. 

The summer reading incentive program is very similar to past summers. Some changes for this summer:

• We’re offering 100 point incentive prizes for adults!
• There are grand prizes for staff summer reading! (and we still have incentive prizes!)
• We have some new prize sponsors including Crumbl, Your Pie, and Launch Trampoline Park
• Big thank you to The Rotary Club of Forsyth County whose generous donation allowed us to purchase prize books for kids and grand prize baskets!

Don’t forget to register for the staff summer reading program! When you earn 500 points, staff can choose a coupon for a chocolate chip cookie from Crumbl, a drink from QT, or an ice cream from McDonald’s. Grand prizes for staff include Chick-fil-A gift cards, a Starbucks gift card, and an Amazon gift card!

Patrons can register and participate from May 25-July 31 (early registration will still be open May 23 and 24). Stay tuned for next week’s Programming Picks to hear more about kickoff events and other exciting programming happening this summer at FCPL! Happy summer, everyone!
