The leaves are changing colors, the nights are cooler, and the lobby of your favorite grocery store smells like cinnamon. Fall is knocking at the door! A fall tradition for the library is the installation of the story stroll at Warbington Farms. This is the fifth year that Forsyth County Public Library has partnered with Warbington Farms to promote literacy by providing a story printed on yard signs and meant to be read outdoors.
Over 20,000 people visit the farm during September 20 through November 5. Families visiting the farm can enjoy the library's story stroll at no cost when they visit the pumpkin patch. This year's story, A Scarecrow for Farmer Anita was written and illustrated by library employees. Kayla Bolton, Youth Services Supervisor at Hampton Park Library, authored the story and Alison Carling, an Information Specialist at the Post Road Library, illustrated it.
