What: An Evening with Jeff Shaara - Forsyth Reads Together

Where: Forsyth Conference Center

When: Tonight! 7:00 p.m.

Tonight is the night! Jeff Shaara will be speaking and signing books. I hope to see many of you there. This is sure to be a great event which has been nearly three years in the making (thanks, pandemic!) so it is an event not to be missed!


What: Summer VolunTEEN Information Session

Where: Sharon Forks

When: Tuesday, March 08 2022, 6:30pm - 7:30pm

Are you interested in applying to be a Summer VolunTEEN at the library? Join us at an informational session with previous year's VolunTEENs. Bring your questions, learn about the Summer VolunTEEN program, and hear from seasoned VolunTEENs. 


VolunTeen recruitment season is in full swing! Each branch hosted mandatory information sessions in February and each branch will host one additional session in March. The VolunTeen application is now live on the website and will be open through March 21. 


What: Saturday Family Storytime

Where: Post Road

When: Saturday, March 12 2022, 11:15am - 11:45am

Head to the library for a storytime each Saturday. We'll have stories, songs, dancing, puppets and more! This storytime is great for the whole family!


What: Guilt & Punishment in Christie's And Then There Were None - Local Author Spotlight: Dr. Laura Getty

Where: Hampton Park

When: Saturday, March 12 2022, 2:00pm - 3:00pm

Dr. Laura Getty of UNG will examine the concepts of guilt and its consequence in Agatha Christie's "And Then There Were None" and how the island serves as a metaphor for punishment. 


What: Seeking Eden: Georgia's Historic Gardens - Celebrating Women

Where: Cumming

When: Sunday, March 13 2022, 2:00pm - 3:00pm

Staci L. Catron will discuss the role that women have played in the history of Georgia's Historic Gardens. Ms. Catron is the Director of the Cherokee Garden Library and co-author of Seeking Eden: A Collection of Georgia's Historic Gardens.
