Positive Case of COVID-19

By Elise Herbst

We have an employee who tested positive for COVID-19 at our Cumming location.  The last day the employee was at CU was on Monday, July 11th. Staff who have been identified as coming in close contact with the employee have been notified.

As a reminder, if you or a household member begin to exhibit COVID-19 like symptoms such as headache, fever, chills, sinus congestion, cough, sore throat, muscle or body ache, vomiting/diarrhea, loss of taste or smell or other COVID-like symptoms, you should stay home and contact your medical provider, your supervisor, and HR for next steps.  Link to CDC Quarantine & Isolation guidelines for additional information.

  1. Will we return to wearing masks since the CDC recommends indoor masks for High transmission areas and Forsyth County is now listed as a High transmission county?

  2. We will continue to let staff decide whether or not to wear masks and FCPL will continue to supply masks. I will be posting a blog later this week with a COVID-19 update. Nikki Watkins
