The first extra closed day for the CU projects will be Sunday, May 30th. All branches are closed on Monday, May 31 for the holiday and the Sunday before Memorial day is typically quiet. Books checked out from CU will not be due on Sunday or Monday. A bookdrop will be moved so that patrons still have access to drop items off safely if necessary.
This extra closed day should cause the least disruption for CU patrons and give the contractor enough time to install the new flooring for the porch. Holly has also invited other contractors to utilize these two days for work to be done. If expected materials come in, we may see work done on a few of our other projects over the weekend. Tuesday morning after the holiday should be exciting.
