We have an employee who tested positive for COVID-19 at our Sharon Forks location. The last day the employee was at SF was Friday. This employee's known exposure was from a member of the household. Staff who came into close contact with the employee will be notified.
This is FCPL's third positive case this week. Our surge mirrors the data for Forsyth County. One week ago Forsyth County's case rate was 155 cases per 100K in population. Now it is 232 cases per 100K in population. [Edit from 12/27: Now 400 cases per 100K over the last two weeks.] Please stay safe as you navigate this holiday season.
As a reminder, if you or a household member begins to exhibit COVID-19 like symptoms such as fever, chills, sinus congestion, cough, sore throat, muscle or body aches, vomiting/diarrhea, loss of taste or smell or other COVID-like symptoms, you should stay home and contact your medical provider, your supervisor, and HR for next steps.
