The Princess and the Butterbean at Denmark Library (12/30)
100 Children, 65 Adults
“Denmark Library had a hilarious morning with Lee Bryan That Puppet Guy. Patrons were giggling the entire time at the slapstick comedy! At the end of the show, Lee showed the audience how he creates the puppets and how he moves them around. The patrons really loved getting to see the behind the scenes and taking pictures with the puppets.” - hosted by Sarah Grace Moses

“Combine ugly holiday sweaters, tacky backgrounds, awkward poses, and silly facial expressions, along with patrons and staff ready for a good laugh, and you get Wacky Winter Portraits! Over 900 photos were taken, and many comments were received from patrons about how much fun they had and how much they appreciated this program.” - hosted by Brooke Richards, Melissa Reed, and Sarah Sander
16 Adults
“We had so much fun learning three different dances! Those who did not wish to dance had a themed crossword to fill out, and the option to decorate their own masquerade masks. Many patrons shared how much fun they were having and asked for more dance classes.” - hosted by Erica Emling

“Family Gingerbread Fun was a success! Grandparents brought toddlers and elementary kids, teens brought their dads, families brought other families! It was a lovely and festive time for everyone.” - hosted by Brooklyn Cave

“Mrs. Claus came rushing into the room with a rolling pin and wrapping paper exclaiming how busy she was, but seeing the children, she joyfully stopped her work and shared books and songs with them. Once Santa entered, he sang with the kids, then roamed the library. He even stopped by the study rooms, where two high school boys asked if they could share their presentation with him.” - hosted by Julie Boyd
Drop in Holiday Crafts at Cumming Library (12/2)

“Families had lots of fun helping their little ones with some creative holiday themed projects! There were seven stations for kids to enjoy, each with their own craft. Participants were very appreciative of the program and had a great time!“ - hosted by Jillian Palmieri
Tiny Art: Snowy Little Scenes at Sharon Forks Library (12/1)

“We had 36 eager painters joining us for some snowy fun. Everyone was given the same color palette and a selection of reference images, and we saw a wide range of beautiful artwork. Overall, everyone left pleased and seemed excited for more family programming to come in the new year.” - hosted by Basil Marcus
Teen Mini Snow Globes at Denmark Library (12/11)
20 Children
“This was a TAB-led program, so I gave them the time and space to set up the room and get the supplies they needed ready. After patrons arrived to take part in the craft, the TAB teens led them and made sure they knew which order to do things. Overall, the program went super well, and all the snow globes turned out so cute!” - hosted by Leslie Young
Forsyth Creates: Snow Globes at Hampton Park Library (12/17)

“We had a fabulous turnout for our Snow Globe program. Everyone had a fun and festive attitude and shared supplies well. We had a patient and cooperative group who enjoyed putting their snow globes together, and everyone left happy! It was a great finale for our crafting year.” - hosted by Amy Whitten
Teen Stress Pups at Sharon Forks Library (12/14)

“The dogs brought much-needed relief for the teens from all the exam stress. They played with the dogs to take short breaks from studying, which worked out very well. The dogs brought a lot of joy to everyone present today.” - hosted by Britt Poteet
Sensitive Santa at Hampton Park Library (12/14)

“We had another great Sensitive Santa! Santa did an excellent job answering tricky questions, assuring them that they would receive the gifts they wanted, and making every child feel welcome.” - hosted by Kayla Bolton
