In one corner you have LOANIE: she is big, bold, beautiful, and unapologetically takes up most of the road. In the other corner we have the 5 DOUBLE OH 1. She may seem demure and easy on the eyes, but don’t let that simple minivan exterior deceive you.
You may be asking yourself: yes, both of these vehicles seem lovely, but which one do people prefer to drive?
All the foam fingers in the Outreach department point to Loanie as the big winner.
WHAT in the spark plug do you mean?!?!?!
I can hardly believe it myself. The thought of driving Loanie may seem scary to some, but I promise you it is not as terrifying as you think. Loanie is equipped with a ton of safety features, from cameras that can see everything around you, to at least 8 mirrors that show every angle and view you can think of. Also, every new Outreach specialist receives professional driver’s training from an awesome guy from South Africa (amazing accent included). He teaches you what all of the gizmos and gadgets on Loanie do and then takes you to a parking lot to try out your skills.
When you drive Loanie, you have an unexpected view. You can see so much more than a normal car. To quote anonymous fellow coworkers with the initials:
J.T.: “When you drive Loanie you're big and you can see everywhere it feels kind of powerful.”
J.G.: “I love that you can see everywhere from every angle because of the strategically placed mirrors and cameras.”
B.W.: “I think my favorite part of driving the bookmobile is that I can practically stand on the gas pedal and Loanie still only goes 35 mph up a hill!”
M.G.: “It works like an actual vehicle with a key that you turn as opposed to a button. The van doesn’t have a gear shift. Loanie does.”
Four out of four compact car drivers approve this message!
"WHAT in the spark plug do you mean?!?!?!" .... Lol!!!
