Happy First Birthday, Denmark Library!

• Denmark Library had the highest overall circulation engagement rate for February 2026 at 18.61% (56,241 items checked out). This means that the collections at Denmark Library are highly active and well-aligned with patron demand.
• Youth materials continue to circulate very well at Denmark Library. Easy Board Books, Launchpads, Easy Read-Alongs, Juvenile Kits, and Storytime Takeout Kits remain the top circulating children’s items.
  
  
• The largest portion of Denmark Library’s inventory is concentrated in Juvenile Fiction, Adult Fiction, and Adult Nonfiction, accounting for nearly 44% of the branch’s total items.
  
  
• Denmark Library opened with slightly over 47,000 items and now houses 54,979 items!

Adult Nonfiction is our largest overall collection with 72,264 items during this timeframe. Juvenile Fiction is our second largest collection with 54,863, followed closely by Adult Fiction with 53,280 items.

Juvenile Fiction is our overall highest circulating collection during Denmark's first year with 218,383 total checkouts. Denmark Library circulated 8,770 unique Juvenile Fiction titles out of 31,786 total checkouts. 

Small collections, like Easy Board Books, Storytime Takeout Kits, and LaunchPads have exceptionally high circulation, indicating these items are in high demand!

Certain collections such as Juvenile Graphic Novels and Early Readers show disproportionately high checkout rates compared to their collection size, indicating these collections are highly popular and in-demand!
