Escape from Exams
When: Tuesday, May 16, 5:00–7:00 p.m.
Where: Hampton Park Library
What: Chill out from the stress of exams at the library!

Successful Shade Gardening
When: Tuesday, May 16, 7:00–8:00 p.m.
Where: Sharon Forks Library
What: Barbra Moyer from the Forsyth County Master Gardeners will talk to patrons about successfully gardening in shade in Georgia. Patrons will take home a starter Lenten Rose plant for their shade garden.

Bookmobile Visit – Abbington at Haw Creek 
When: Thursday, May 18, 3:15–4:15 p.m.
Where: 1455 Buford Highway
What: Drop by and check out books for children, teens, and adults in English and Spanish. Chromebooks are available to check out for 30 days. Kids can also join us for a craft or activity!

Bat Walk for Endangered Bat Species Week
When: Thursday, May 18, 7:30–9:00 p.m.
Where: Hampton Park Library
What: Georgia has sixteen species of bats, three of which are classified as endangered. Our experts Laurie and Larry Alvord will start with a presentation on these flying mammals followed by a walk outside as we listen for bat calls at sunset with our ultrasonic bat detector.

Taekwondo - The Fast-moving Korean Martial Art!
When: Saturday, May 20, 2:30–3:30 p.m.
Where: Post Road Library
What: Master Cody of World Championship Taekwondo and his students will present a demonstration of their martial art skills.

Jews and Atlanta’s Hospitals: A Form of Social Service 
When: Sunday, May 21, 2:00–3:00 p.m.
Where: Sharon Forks Library 
What: Learn about the Jewish concept of tikun olam, or "repairing the world," and the contributions of Jews to the development of Atlanta hospitals with author and retired professor Dr. Mark Bauman.
