The Edible Book Contest is BACK!

By popular demand, we are excited to announce the return of our Edible Book Contest for Staff Day 2023!

What exactly is the “Edible Book Contest” you ask?

It was a beloved Staff Day tradition that we are thrilled to bring back. No technical decorating skills required, just the desire to show off your creative spirit! The idea is simple: An “Edible Book” can look like a book, make a pun on a title, refer to a character, or just have something to do with books. Whatever the inspiration, it must be an edible dessert. Examples of past entries include titles such as: The Magic School Bus, Yertle the Turtle, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, The Very Hungry Caterpillar, and The Life of Pi.

The contest will be on Staff Day, Friday October 13. Staff will be able to view entries and vote on their favorites throughout the morning. Entries will be served as dessert during the lunch break and the winner will be announced during the afternoon.

If you wish to participate, you must submit the title you have chosen for your cake/dessert on your Staff Day registration survey (coming soon).
