There are so many great events coming up this week, it was hard to choose just a few! Check out these great Programming Picks for the week of December 11, 2023:
Adult Special Needs Craft & Story Hour
When: Tuesday, December 12 at 11:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.
Where: Hampton Park Library
What: Adults with special needs (developmental disabilities) are invited to listen to stories and create simple crafts designed to accommodate a range of abilities. This month's theme is snowmen! We will be making snow globes.
heARTWORK–Crafts for Adults at Sharon Forks
When: Wednesday, December 13 at 6:30–8:00 p.m.
Where: Sharon Forks Library
What: Get ready for the holidays at the library and learn various creative gift-wrapping techniques for the season. Advance registration is not required, but space and supplies are limited. This program is for adults only.
Storytime with Mrs. Claus (Rescheduled)
When: Thursday, December 14 at 6:30–8:00 p.m.
Where: Cumming Library
What : Mrs. Claus will share stories and songs that represent holiday traditions around the world, then Santa will be dropping by for greetings and photos!
Adult MakerDay: Winter Silhouettes with Buttons
When: Sunday, December 17 at 2:00–4:00 p.m.
Where: Post Road Library
What: Create something new each month at our adults-only craft program! This month, join us to create winter silhouettes with buttons!
Gamer Escape Room–Can you escape the video game? (4 hour-long sessions)
When: Sunday, December 17 at 2:30 p.m., 2:50 p.m., 3:10 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.
Where: Cumming Library
What: Ever wished you were trapped inside a video game? Join us as we make our way through Mario, Zelda, Pokémon, and Kirby. Players must use all their gaming knowledge to make it to the next level. Registration is required.
