Georgia Public Library Service (GPLS) has announced some important updates to the Partnership Passes that the Library circulates to patrons.
As per the GPLS Partnership Guide, a patron or family may only check the pass out once every six months. This language will be added to the wording for each pass on the Library's website. The inserts for the passes will be updated to reflect this change as well. This change applies to all the passes, including those which were previously on a different time based circulation limit.
We will be recalling the Alliance Theatre Pass, the Atlanta History Center Pass, and the State Parks Pass to prevent patrons from using these passes on or after their expiration date of December 31, 2023. Once the 2024 copies of these passes are available, they will be sent to the branches for circulation.
GPLS has also announced procedural changes to the Alliance Theatre Pass for 2024. The changes will be updated on the Library's website and on the pass insert once the 2024 copy of the pass arrives. More information about the changes to this pass will be provided before the 2024 copy goes live.
As per GPLS, the Partnership Passes will be referred to as Experience Passes going forward.
