Book Walk: Over and Under the Snow by Kate Messner

When: Through Wednesday, December 27 

Where: Hampton Park Library

What: Final days to take a book walk straight out of the pages of

Over and Under the Snow, written by Kate Messner and illustrated by Christopher Silas Neal. Visit this winter wonderland in person and discover several woodland creatures along the way!

Snow Much Fun STEM Time: Drop-In Science Fun

When: Wednesday, December 27 at 11:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m.

Where: Sharon Forks Library

What: Drop in with your child between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. and explore various winter-themed STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) activities together. For families with children ages 3 and up.


Art Workshops for Teens with Lara Maclean

When: Wednesday, December 27 at 2:00–4:00 p.m. (Grades 6–8)

When: Thursday, December 28 at 2:00–4:00 p.m. (Grades 9–12)

Where: Post Road Library

What: All teens are welcome to come create winter-themed art projects with artist Lara MacLean in sessions for both middle and high school artists! All supplies will be provided, just bring yourself and your creativity! Tickets will be handed out 30 minutes before the program.


overBOOKed: A Book Club for Adults

When: Thursday, December 28 at 10:00–11:00 a.m.

Where: Cumming Library

What: Looking for a fun way to delight in books and meet new people? Come relax and enjoy deep discussions about this month's heartwarming mystery selection: The Maid by Nita Prose.
