The information regarding the discount for patrons to the Georgia Aquarium will be removed from the Library's website. This action is being undertaken at the request of Georgia Public Library Service. The discount to the Aquarium is part of a partnership between the Georgia Aquarium and GPLS, similar to the Experience Passes.
GPLS has requested the discount information no longer be promoted due to two reasons. GPLS has indicated that they feel the Aquarium discount is not at the level it once was. There are also concerns with the consistency of access to the discount through the link and webpage created by the Aquarium.
GPLS has indicated that they are working with the Aquarium on this issue. The discount may return at some point in the future.
