VolunTEENS Rock at PR!

For summer, we are fortunate enough to have the help of our fabulous VolunTEENS. We truly could not get through summer without them. We seem to say it every year, but this year was our best group ever! We thought you might enjoy hearing about (and seeing) some of the many ways the Post Road Library’s VolunTEENS helped us out this year.

They ran stations inside and out for our very popular Elementary program - Around the World Wednesdays.

Mia was timing an Olympian in her time trial.

They helped with crowd control and tickets during our big performer days.

They kept the books moving by sorting and shelving (and boy did they love the little red chairs!).

They kept us in buttons when we ran out.

They ran our registration/prize table, assisting patrons who wanted to sign up, and then handing out prizes to eager children. During quiet times at the table, they helped with other tasks.

They created our July Scavenger Hunt, and designed and put together endcaps. 

Best of all, they made good friends and had a lot of fun!
