Preventing Pesky Pests - Vegetable Gardening with the Master Gardeners

When: Monday, August 19 at 6:30–8:00 p.m.

Where: Cumming Library 

What: Join Master Gardener Extension Volunteers as they discuss identifying common garden pests and what you can do to reduce their populations. For adults.

Ask a Speech Therapist Anything About Speech Milestones

When: Wednesday, August 21 at 6:30–7:30 p.m.

Where: Hampton Park Library

What: Learn about speech milestones, identify potential challenges, learn about effective support strategies, discover community resources, and ask questions with Speech-Language Pathologist Sheryl Denly. For adults.

Great Southeast Pollinator Census

When: Saturday, August 24 at 10:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.

Where: Hampton Park Library Butterfly Garden & Post Road Library Poetry Garden

What: Drop by Hampton Park or Post Road to record pollinators' visits to plants in our gardens! Children can complete crafts and Master Gardeners will be on site to answer questions. All ages welcome.
