Getting vaccinated against Influenza (Flu) is one of the best ways of avoiding contracting the virus.
In order to protect our staff, FCPL is pleased to announce that we have arranged for the pharmacist from Goodson Drug to offer a flu vaccine clinic on Monday, September 29 from 2:00–5:30 p.m. at Denmark Library, and Tuesday, September 30 from 10:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. at HQ/Administrative Offices.
Your participation is completely voluntary, however if you choose to participate it will be considered work time and you may notate up to one hour on your time sheet (if you were not scheduled to work). For those employees scheduled to work that day at one of the branches, please speak to your supervisor to arrange the best time to go.
We are also very pleased to be able to offer to cover the cost of the vaccine to any employee who does not have health insurance (if you do have health insurance, please make sure that you bring your insurance card with you—please make sure that you have coverage for vaccination at local pharmacies—Kaiser does not cover vaccinations from Goodson Drug).
Unfortunately, due to the new restrictions on the Covid vaccine, we are unable to offer the Covid vaccine.
