As you are aware, the existing RBDigital electronic platform will be going away in 2021. Recorded Books made the decision to no longer provide products in this format. The various components of RBDigital were sold to other vendors.
eAudiobooks contained within RBDigital were recently migrated to OverDrive/LIBBY.
The Hoonuit database on RBDigital was acquired by Infobase and will be moved to the Infobase platform sometime early this year. Hoonuit will be renamed Infobase Learning Cloud. Infobase provides FCPL with several databases, including Access Video on Demand.
As of this writing, the ArtistWorks and Universal Class databases provided on RBDigital will be moved to OverDrive sometime in 2021. (This information is subject to change.)
FCPL currently receives eMagazines through Flipster and RBDigital. There will be no changes to the eMagazines offered in Flipster at this time.
eMagazines provided by RBDigital will be migrated to OverDrive on February 4, 2021. This process may take up to 24 hours.
The eMagazines provided by RBDigital will continue to appear on that platform until March 31, 2021. After March 31, 2021, these titles may only be accessed through OverDrive/LIBBY.
