Stay Home if You Are Sick (Even if You’re Not Sure it’s COVID)

Submitted by Aimee Brown

Let me start off by thanking all of you - our amazing staff and volunteers - for everything you are doing to maintain the daily regimen of cleaning & safety protocols and staying home if you are sick!  It really is making a difference.

The CDC reports that people with COVID-19 have had a wide range of symptoms – ranging from mild symptoms to more severe illness.  Symptoms may appear 2-14 days after exposure to the virus.

We want to encourage everyone, when in doubt, please stay home and contact your medical professional for advice before reporting to work – even if you think its allergies, a sinus infection, or other ailment, it’s best to be sure before coming to work and inadvertently exposing others.

With multiple vaccines becoming available and opportunities to be vaccinated on the horizon, it’s just a matter of time before we can get back to being with extended family and friends and doing the things we love.  Stay safe, stay well, and keep up the great work!
