Positive Case of COVID-19

Submitted by Aimee Brown

We have an employee who tested positive for COVID-19 at our Headquarters location.  The last day the employee was at HQ was on Thursday, January 14th.   This employee had a household member who began experiencing COVID-19 like symptoms so the employee stayed home and began quarantining immediately.

Staff identified as having had close contact to this employee have been contacted separately and told to quarantine.  The particular staff involved followed all cleaning and sanitizing protocols and wore masks.

As a reminder, if you or a household member begin to exhibit COVID-19 like symptoms such as fever, chills, sinus congestion, cough, sore throat, muscle or body aches, vomiting/diarrhea, loss of taste or smell or other COVID-like symptoms, you should stay home and contact your healthcare provider right away.  In addition, if you become aware that you have been in close contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19, you should stay home and not enter the workplace.  Contact your medical provider, your supervisor, and HR for next steps.

Procedures and other information can be found in the COVID Procedures Manual (posted to SharePoint).  You may also request a copy from the HR office.
