The Incredible Joke Machine at PR by Shannan Wade

Did you hear the one about the joke vending machine at Post Road? 😉 During the entire month of April, Post Road’s got jokes. We are marking National Humor Month with the debut of our brand new Incredible Joke Machine-the only machine of its kind in existence! How it works: The patron pushes the protruding lever, an egg slips into a slot, rolls down the ramp, and delivers a joke to the patron. They read the joke, they laugh with their family and friends, and then they put the joke back into the egg. Lastly, they return the egg to the recycling basket so that others can be in on the joke too. So far, patrons and staff alike are loving The Incredible Joke Machine. Several folks have been seen returning again and again during their visit to try a different joke. One kiddo wanted to stand there until he had gotten every single joke. Fortunately (or unfortunately, depending on your perspective), he was led away by his parentals before he could run through all 150 different jokes. The Incredible Joke Machine will be in service until April 30th, so don’t stop to ask why the chicken crossed the library.
