We are putting
together a group of staff, volunteers, Friends, friends, and family to cheer on
the Gwinnett Stripers when they play the Nashville Sounds on Friday, April 15
at 7:05 p.m. at Coolray Field. The Stripers, formerly known as the Gwinnett
Braves, are the Triple-A affiliate of the Atlanta Braves. If you’re a fan of
the Atlanta Braves, watching the Stripers play is a fantastic experience
because there is the real possibility of seeing tomorrow’s Major League
superstars, with a great view of the action! Twenty-one current Atlanta Braves
players, including Freddie Freeman, Ozzie Albies, Dansby Swanson, Austin Riley,
and Ronald Acuna Jr., have played for the Stripers. (You can see all 489 of the

And if the game of baseball isn’t enough to entice you, how about the fantastic
ballpark food options?
If you’d like
to be part of the fun, send a check (made payable to FCPL) or cash for your
tickets, which are $15 each, to me by Wednesday, March 23. Guests are welcome—the
more the merrier!
