GLS has issued a recall of Talking Book Machines to their
patrons who have been inactive since January 2020. These patrons received
instructions on how to return the machines but you may have a GLS patron or
their family member return the machine to your branch instead. If they do,
please send it to CU: Attn Jen or Joan and we will handle the return for them.
According to Gina Martin, GLS Outreach Manager, they have contacted 31 patrons
in Forsyth County about returning their Talking Book Machines. If anyone has
questions about the recall, please direct them to call GLS at 1-800-248-6701.
