Elementary STEAM: The Science of Slimy Things
When: Tuesday, October 24 at 4:00–5:00 p.m.
Where: Cumming Library
What:: Kids will learn about slime from biology and physics perspectives, interact with pre-made slime, and get to make slime of their own. For kids in grades K - 5. No registration required.
Bat Walk: A Bat Week Celebration
When: Wednesday, October 25 at 6:00–8:00 p.m.
Where: Hampton Park Library
What: Celebrate Bat Week with bat experts Laurie and Larry Alvord to learn all about bats and go on a Bat Walk to listen for their calls with a bat detector!
Historic Murders of Forsyth County

What: Join University of North Georgia (UNG) professor Dr. Melissa Schindler and her students to learn about the project "Narrative North Georgia" and hear their research on historic murders in the area. For adults.
Basics of Elder Law: Presented by Michelle Wilson

Fashioning a Nation: Exhibit from Georgia Commission on the Holocaust
When: Friday, October 27–Tuesday, November 28 during library hours
Where: Sharon Forks Library
What: Visit this touring banner exhibit that explores the powerful history of German fashion from its international impact to its destruction by the Nazi regime. It honors the legacy of the Jewish Germans who contributed to its rise and commemorates the great cultural and economic loss of its demise.
