LinkedIn Learning is a resource with thousands of training and development videos. The videos cover a variety of subjects from data analysis to piano lessons.
One nice feature of LinkedIn Learning is the notebook tool. The notebook tool can be used while watching a course. Taking notes during the course can improve retention, aid focus, and serve as a reference for later use.
During a video, the notebook can be found directly beneath a video, in between 'Overview' and 'Transcript.' The notebook allows a viewer to type notes for each segment of the video as they watch. Each time a viewer hits 'enter' the notes are saved.
A nice feature of the notebook tool is that the notes are saved in sections, according to the video segment in which they were typed. This creates an organization to the notes and aids future reference. The notebook tool also has the ability to export your notes for download. (The notes will download into Notepad, from which you can copy and paste into a Google document if needed.)
