Adventure Has Begun at Your Library!

Summer Reading Fun 2024: Adventure Begins at Your Library will launch on Thursday, May 23 and end on Wednesday, July 31. Early registration opened yesterday, May 1. 

Here are the highlights of the summer incentive program this year:

• Points badges are awarded at 100, 250, 500, 750, and 1000 points
• Challenge is complete at 500 points, but we encourage patrons to keep going
• Activity badges:
• Adventure Awaits: Must complete 4 activities
• Create Adventure: Must complete 4 activities
• Kindness Grows: Must complete 4 activities
• Wow!: Active July 1–31
• Prerequisite: Earn the Create Adventure Badge
• Check out a book in July
• Attend a library event in July
• Earn at least 600 points

Preschool Incentive Prizes:

• Earn 100 points badge and get a badge sticker, Badge Tracker Card, and a small prize
• Earn 250, 750, and 1,000 points badges and get badge stickers and a small prize
• Earn 500 points badge and get a badge sticker, and a prize book
• Earn an activity badge and get a badge sticker

Elementary–High School Incentive Prizes:

• FCPL lanyard at 100 points
• Buttons at 100, 250, 500, 750, and 1000 points
• Earn an activity badge and get a reward button

Adults and FCPL Staff Incentive Prizes:

• Earn 100, 250, 500, 750, 1000 points badges and get a vinyl sticker

Tickets for the grand prize drawings are awarded every 500 points earned up to 5000 points. This is the same for all challenges.
