American Red Cross Blood Drive

When: Monday, May 20 at 2:00–7:00 p.m.

Where: Post Road Library

What: To make an appointment, please visit www.RedCrossBlood.org OR call 1-800-Red-Cross. Please eat iron-rich foods, drink plenty of non-caffeinated fluids, and get a good night's rest before donating blood. PHOTO I.D. REQUIRED.


Paws to Read - For Grades Kindergarten & Up

When: Tuesday, May 21 at 3:30–5:00 p.m.

Where: Post Road Library

What: Read and relax with a certified therapy dog while improving literacy skills. Participants in grades kindergarten and up can sign up at the door for 15-minute sessions.


Take a Moment - Self-Care Program for Adults

When: Tuesday, May 21 at 7:00–8:00 p.m.

Where: Sharon Forks Library

What: Start your moment with 15 minutes of mindfulness and chair yoga, and create a handmade beaded suncatcher to remind you of sunny days ahead. This program is for adults only.


overBOOKed - A Book Club for Adults

When: Thursday, May 23, 2024 at 10:00–11:00 a.m.

Where: Cumming Library 

What: Over-stressed? Overworked? Over-BOOKed? Look no further! Delight in books featuring unforgettable characters. This month we will discuss A Gentleman's Murder by Christopher Huang.


Exploring Sawnee Mountain Preserve

When: Sunday, May 26, 2024 at 2:00–3:00 p.m.

Where: Hampton Park Library 

What: Explore Sawnee Mountain Preserve and all of the attractions with Outdoor Recreation Coordinator, Jackson Gibbs. For adults.
