Congratulations to Morgan at Post Road!

Morgan Shaffer just received her MSLS (Master of Science in Library Science) from the University of Kentucky! She began her program in August 2022 and focused on public libraries. Her favorite classes were Makerspaces and Disability and Access in Libraries. One of her favorite projects was

to teach her peers how to make a craft using free or easily available materials. For the project, Morgan chose a paper quilled snowflake using toothpicks and copy paper.

Morgan chose a career in libraries because it allows her to make a difference and help people. She has already gotten to know and engaged in impactful interactions with numerous patrons. Morgan runs the Book Sleuths book club, and is one of the masterminds behind Post Road's popular murder mysteries.

Morgan joined FCPL in January 2023 as a CSA before becoming an Information Specialist in July 2023. Congratulations, Morgan!
