We have seen all the wonderful recaps and pictures of Summer Reading Fun in our branches over the last few weeks. Are you a bit curious of what is happening on the Bookmobile? Take a look at the following link to get a behind-the-scenes glimpse of Loanie's Summer Reading Fun makeover. We had a blast decorating the Bookmobile! Karina and Christine worked their magic and designed an amazing scene for the door behind our main desk. Our scavenger hunt for the month of June has the patrons seeking out sea creatures. Once they locate the sea creature, they write down the scientific name. Our patrons enjoy visiting the treasure chest for their prizes. The prizes are a huge hit as always! Only on the Bookmobile can you award a prize to someone dressed in their bathing suit. How appropriate that our Aquatic Passes winner, Iker Garcia, visited the Bookmobile in his bathing suit with his towel around his neck. Kara, one of our younger patrons, also came on board on her way to the pool and was excited to learn that she won a book and a toy. Every day in Outreach is a true adventure!
