Today is the halfway point for summer reading. We have already exceeded the registrations from 2022! Keep registering patrons for summer reading because it's not too late to earn incremental prizes and tickets for the grand prize drawings on Friday, August 4.
Here are some current SRF 2023 numbers that may interest you:
- 7,151 registered readers
- 3,025,475 minutes read
- 54,978 books read
- 4,608 reviews submitted
On the staff side, we have 48 registered readers, 25 of whom have completed the challenge (500 points) and are eligible to put in tickets toward the grand prizes. Way to go! Staff will earn a ticket for every 500 points earned, so keep logging minutes, activities, and reviews.
Together, staff have logged completing 51 books. What are your coworkers reading? One theme jumps out at me. See if you can guess the theme:
