This is How We Roll

Submitted by Sarah Reynolds

Often it is the little things that bring the most joy. Information Specialists Jessica Doss and Hailey Brett teamed up to spread a little happiness at Sharon Forks in a very surprising way – labels. Cart labels, to be exact.

Over the past few weeks, random carts were bestowed new names that never ceases to make us giggle when we come across them. See for yourself:

Other personalities include:

  • Kim Kartdashian
  • Pablo Picarto
  • Cartniss Everdeen
  • Cart Cobain
  • Pete the Cart

Like we said… it’s the little things. Thanks, Hailey and Jessica!

  4. Thank you everyone. We have to give credit where credit is due...the internet! I saw a video on Instagram about another library doing this and shared it with Jessica. She then found a Reddit thread where other librarians suggest cart names and within 24 hours of me first seeing the video we were labeling away!

  5. A few Fun Facts: the loudest cart is appropriately named "Carti B" and the shortest cart is "Napoleon Bonacart"!
