Spotlight on Staff Picks at Post Road

Post Road has added more staff picks to our display. After a lot of coordination, the Post Road Staff Picks display is open for participation from any and all Post Road staff members that are interested. We now have six ISs, four YSs, two CSAs, and three supervisors participating for a total of fifteen staff picks. This is almost 70% of PR's current staff. 

PR Staff Picks guidelines include:

• Only using items from adult collections 
• PR must own a physical copy of the item
• You must have at least ten items on your list
• General guidelines about displaying books apply (books with a potentially inflammatory cover should not be included, etc.)

I have been working with all staff who have not participated in staff picks before. For some staff, this is a great opportunity to explore what another role at FCPL may entail. For other staff, this has been a fun way to share their enthusiasm for books with others despite their job title. We hope to continue the improvements to our staff picks by developing a way to promote digital items as well. Check out some of these photos to see what PR has been reading!
