GPLS Niche Academy, Percipio, and LinkedIn Learning offer free learning resources that can help you meet your monthly training requirements! Keep reading to discover what these resources offer and how to access them.
The GPLS Learning Center has a catalog of webinars on library-specific topics, including programming, community outreach, communicating with difficult patrons, and information literacy. There is also a G-suite series that teaches tips and tricks for working with Google applications such as Gmail, Drive, Sheets, and Slides. These webinars can be viewed at any time, and most are around an hour long.

Percipio offers professional development courses on topics such as business communication, leadership, customer service, and work productivity. These courses are not library-specific but offer many applicable skills and techniques. Each course spans about 20 - 30 minutes and can be completed anytime.

LinkedIn Learning is a learning platform available to both staff and patrons through the FCPL website. It offers self-paced courses on a wide variety of professional and personal development topics, such as time management, organization, leadership, and communication. The length of the courses varies greatly, from 10 minutes to 2 hours.
To access LinkedIn Learning, you will need to sign in with your library card by going through the FCPL website. It is important that you go through the library's website so that all content is free to access.
