Here are a handful of delightful programs to highlight for the week of March 18, 2024.





Handcrafted @ Hampton Park

When: Wednesday, March 20 at 1:00–2:00 p.m.

Where: Hampton Park Library

What: Bring a friend and get crafty in our adult craft program. This month we will be making

peep and bunny magnets! Registration is not required.


Conversational English

When: Wednesday, March 20 at 5:30–6:30 p.m. 

Where: Post Road Library

What: All English learners are welcome to join this FREE conversational English for adults class no matter your country of origin, reading level or citizenship status. Registration is not required.


Stories of Exile–Reading Groups for Public Libraries

When: Wednesday, March 20 at 7:00–8:00 p.m.

Where: Sharon Forks Library

What: In this fourth and final Stories of Exile reading group discussion, we will explore the idea of responsibility to past traditions versus embracing change through future generations in the writings of Yenta Mash, Chava Rosenfarb, Jacob Glatstein, and Ha Jin. This program is for adults and high school-aged teens. Registration is required to receive the selected readings.


Up & Cumming Writers

When: Thursday, March 21 at 6:30–8:30 p.m.

Where: Cumming Library

What: Are you an aspiring writer looking to refine your work for publication? Join this supportive, creative forum where you can work to improve your writing and assist others through the process of critiquing. Registration required.


Dealing with Burnout for Women–Celebrating Women

When: Sunday, March 24 at 2:00–3:00 p.m.

Where: Sharon Forks Library

What:  Licensed Professional Counselor Debbie Smith will discuss how women can identify symptoms of burnout and ways to handle it.
