👨‍🦽HP Has a Puppet-Sized Wheelchair!

Attention all puppeteers and display makers! Hampton Park has a unique prop to share with you!

Did you know that many puppets are roughly the size of an American Girl doll? You do now! We have an American Girl doll wheelchair that is the perfect size for a puppet, plus you can manipulate the puppet through the back flap!

There are so many stories out there representing children who use wheelchairs, and now we can have our programming and displays reflect that. Ideas for use include a puppet show for a storytime with a disabled character, or having a Disability Pride table display.
