• Five Little Friends by Sean Taylor

Calling all Youth Services staff! This book is filled with finger play rhymes that would be perfect for storytime.

HOLIDAY HITS: 

 

• Family Feast by Carole Boston Weatherford

This cozy, festive title showcases an intergenerational Black family celebrating a holiday meal. It works for both Thanksgiving and Christmas (and maybe even New Year’s)! 

• North for the Winter by Bobby Podesta

Big kids love holiday books, too. This Juvenile graphic novel by a Pixar animator would be great to put in the hands of an upper elementary schooler looking for some Christmas cheer.
