Good morning and happy Tuesday.
In keeping with the revised federal social distancing
guidelines, the libraries will remain closed through April 30th, if
not longer.
During April, we will continue our current practice of
using a combination of actual hours worked (telework or on site) and
administrative leave to ensure employees are receiving regular pay and have no
break in benefits coverage.
We recognize that everyone’s situation is different. Although continuing to work is in the best financial
interest of most employees, this may not be the case for everyone. Please reach out to HR (HR@forsythpl.org) if you are struggling to
work because you are caring for a child whose school or childcare is closed for
reasons related to COVID-19. As Nikki
described in her 3/30/20 blog post, there are new benefits available under the
Families First Coronavirus Response Act for employees who cannot work due to
COVID-related illness or childcare issues.
