There are currently 33 staff members who have signed up for the #WeKnowBooks Reading Challenge. Of that number, 12 have completed the challenge. This requires reading 6 different books that embody 6 of the 12 tasks. It’s not too late to sign up: you can find the spreadsheet both on Sharepoint and Google Docs.
Searching
for a few titles to help you complete the challenge? Look no further than the
spreadsheet itself! Many of the task titles have hyperlinks which will take you
directly to corresponding books within our catalog. It also doesn’t hurt to see
which titles your coworkers picked to complete the tasks. A few recommendations
from staff include:
- Convenience
Store Woman by Sayaka Murata (Novel in
Translation)
- An
Elderly Lady is Up to No Good by
Helene Tursten (Short Story)
- Naamah
by Sarah Blake (Inspired by
Mythology, Fairy Tales, or Folklore)
You
may have already read several titles this year that also meet the tasks. Fall
is inching closer, which means it’s the perfect time to curl up with a good
book!

I have really enjoyed the staff reading challenge! I hope we do another one next year.
