New masks have arrived!

As previously mentioned on the blog, FCPL has purchased KN95 masks for staff. You can read about the new masks of the previous blog post here.

 To reiterate from the previous post, these masks offer better protection for staff against COVID-19. With better protection comes a higher price tag, so these new masks with be for staff only use. We will continue to purchase the regular disposable masks for patrons.

 While these masks are disposable, they are intended to be worn several times before disposing. We only purchased a fraction of the amount we usually purchase of the other masks.

 To start, each branch will receive a box of 50 KN95 masks. Unfortunately, they did not come individually wrapped like we’d hoped, but rather in bundles of 5. I have packaged up 50 baggies for the branches to use to individually packed them for staff.
