What: Superheroes Read - a 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten Celebration
Where: All four branches
When: Tuesday at CU, Wednesday at SF, Thursday at HP and PR
Come join us at a super storytime and learn how to prepare your child to be a super reader with 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten. Come dressed as your favorite superhero or book character! 

What: STEAM-y Storytime - a story and experiment
Where: Sharon Forks
When: Monday, January 03 2022, 2:00pm - 3:00pm
Teens from Lambert High School's iGEM program will be leading a special STEAM-y (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math) storytime program for children in grades 3 - 5.  After the story, they will lead the children in a hands-on science experiment about DNA!

What: Seeing Stars - with the Elachee Starlab
Where: Cumming
When: Tuesday, January 04 2022, 2:00pm and 3:15 p.m.
In a unique and exciting experience, children will explore the magic of the night sky. 
Learn about stars and the solar system before entering a portable planetarium to discover the mysteries of the universe. You will view the changes in the seasons, moon phases, and various constellations.  The mythology associated with the night sky will also be explored.   

What: Local Author Spotlight: Meg M. Robinson
Where: Post Road
When: Thursday, January 06 2022, 7:00pm - 8:00pm
Author Meg M. Robinson will discuss her new book, Finding Salus. She will also talk about creating realistic, engrossing fantasy worlds and things to consider when crafting your own.
