Bookmobile items will be shadowed in the online patron catalog beginning Friday, March 19, 2021.
Bookmobile items are being shadowed from patrons to avoid potential confusion on the availability of items. Bookmobile items are not eligible for holds and having them display in the the OPAC may give the impression to patrons that holds may be placed on Bookmobile items. Additionally, patrons may wonder why an available Bookmobile item is not being used to fill the holds queue of a title.
Staff will still be able to see the items in Polaris, but please do not place holds for patrons on Bookmobile items.
