GLASS Survey

Hello to all. GLASS is studying the idea of rebranding our program. Here are the reasons:

• The national program, NLS, has changed its name to use more sensitive language, dropping the use of the word "Handicapped" and becoming the National Library Service for the Blind and Print Disabled.
• Georgia Public Library Service rebranded itself about three years ago, with beautiful new colors, a new logo and preferred font. GLASS wants our messaging to be consistent with our parent agency's.
• GLASS has recently consolidated from a network of subregional libraries and outreach programs to a centralized program.
• Some people do not know what GLASS stands for or what the acronym is trying to convey.

Please take five minutes or less to help us understand how library staff across the state use and understand the name GLASS. I promise this is a quick survey. Please reply by Thursday, April 1. We are moving quickly on this decision and appreciate your input.
