When: Tuesday, June 11 at 11:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.
Where: Hampton Park Library
What: Adults with special needs (developmental disabilities) are invited to listen to stories and create simple crafts designed to accommodate a range of abilities. Caregivers welcome!
Escape from King Tut's Tomb! - An Escape Room for Grades 6-8
When: Tuesday, June 11 at 6:00–7:00 p.m.
Where: Post Road Library
What: Do you love all things Egypt, especially King Tut? Then you will love this Escape Room! Solve puzzles, figure out clues, and work together to break out of King Tut's Tomb! For grades 6–8. Space is limited so event passes will be handed out 30 minutes prior to the event.
Do-It-Yourself Faux Leather Pouch - Call of the Wild Series
When: Friday, June 14 at 2:00–3:30 p.m.
Where: Cumming Library
What: Join other adults for crafting fun and fellowship making faux leather pouches. This is a ticketed program for adults, so arrive at least 30 minutes early to get an event pass. The Call of the Wild series at the Cumming Library celebrates the writings of Jack London and the wilderness survival themes in his works.
The Seven Wonders of the World
When: Saturday, June 15 at 11:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.
Where: Sharon Forks Library
What: Dr. Rachel Ernst of Georgia State University will explore what makes the Wonders of the World so exceptional and discuss the changes over time. For grades 6 and up.
Keeping the Chattahoochee: An Author Talk - with Sally Sierer Bethea
When: Sunday, June 16 at 2:00–3:00 p.m.
Where: Sharon Forks Library
What: Author Sally Sierer Bethea discusses her new book, Keeping the Chattahoochee: Reviving and Defending a Great Southern River, about her efforts to protect an essential southern waterway.
