High School Make and Take - For grades 9–12
When: Monday, June 3 at 6:30–8:00 p.m.
Where: Post Road Library
What: Do you love to create? Enjoy an evening of art, crafts, and fun making friendship bracelets, keychains and more! Space is limited so arrive early to secure your spot.
Bucket List Travel Planning
When: Monday, June 3 at 7:00–8:00 p.m.
Where: Hampton Park Library
What: Brandy Roper and Keshia Murray will share ideas for places to explore and things you can do on your next vacation. Create your own bucket list and explore the world! For adults.
Magic Workshop for Teens
When: Tuesday, June 4 at 6:00–7:00 p.m.
Where: Hampton Park Library
What: Learn incredible sleight of hand magic from renowned magician Arthur Atsma! For teens in grades 6–12. Event passes will be handed out 30 minutes prior to the show.
Science Lab: Action & Reaction - Presented by Talewise
When: Tuesday, June 4 at 6:30–7:30 p.m.
Where: Cumming Library
What: Through hands-on experiments and exciting STEM challenges, workshop participants will get to test out their ideas and discover the actions and reactions of physical science! For grades 6-12. Event passes will be handed out 30 minutes prior to the event.
The Amazing FCPL Race - A strategy game for adults
When: Saturday, June 8, 2024 at 2:00–4:00 p.m.
Where: Post Road Library
What: Teams of two to four people will compete in a race around our Meeting Room to complete challenges inspired by countries from around the world. Bring your own team or join together with other patrons to form a team and perform a variety of challenges including strategy, memory, puzzles, and fun!
Big Band Jazz and Swing - A Roswell New Horizons Band Concert
When: Saturday, June 8, 2024 at 2:00–3:00 p.m.
Where: Sharon Forks Library
What: Enjoy a lively jazz and swing performance by the Roswell New Horizons Red Band. With sixteen instrumentalists and a vocalist, the band will play a wide range of music from Count Basie to Michael Bublé to Buddy Rich.
Tending the Wild - Call of the Wild Series
When: Sunday, June 9 at 2:00–3:00 p.m.
Where: Cumming Library
What: Learn about the vast resources our local plants provide! Presented by Caleb Arnold of Ever Wilder Farm. Call of the Wild celebrates the writings of Jack London and the wilderness survival themes in his works. For adults.
