Take a look at these cool programs to highlight for the week of June 17, 2024.

Dr. Dinosaur: A Puppet Show! - Presented by Mr. Niko

When: Wednesday, June 19 at 10:00–10:30 a.m.

Where: Sharon Forks Library 

What: Join Dr. Dinosaur for an exciting expedition of prehistoric proportions! For all ages. No registration is required, but space may be limited. Event passes will be handed out 30 minutes before the show.

Teen Drum Circle with Beatin' Path Rhythm Events

When: Thursday, June 20 at 6:30–7:30 p.m.

Where: Sharon Forks Library 

What: Teens will be beating the drums while creating their own drum circle. Beatin' Path Rhythm Events will provide drums and other percussion instruments, leading this drum circle for rising grades 6–12. Event passes will be handed out 30 minutes prior to the program.

The History Behind Georgia's State Parks

When: Thursday, June 20 at 7:00–8:00 p.m.

Where: Post Road Library 

What: Come and learn the history of Georgia State Parks presented by local historian Andrew Bramlett. For grades 6 and up.

Jeffini's Wild West Adventure Show - Featuring Jeffini the Great

When: Friday, June 21 at 1:30–2:15 p.m.

Where: Hampton Park Library

What: Marshal Jeffini needs your help to stop the outlaws! Come see how he uses magic and his crazy puppet friends to help save the day. All ages welcome! Event passes will be handed out 30 minutes prior to the show.

Lewis and Clark Expedition: Call of the Wild Series - Presented by Ken Johnston

When: Saturday, June 22 at 2:00–3:00 p.m.

Where: Cumming Library

What: Travel back in time to discover the wonders and hardships of the Lewis and Clark Expedition. Learn about the contributions made to American history by Meriwether Lewis, William Clark, and Sacagawea brought to life by performer Ken Johnston. For grades 9 and up.
