eResources Not Returning for Fiscal Year 2025

The following is a list of eResources not returning for fiscal year 2025 (July 1, 2024–June 30, 2025). 

• Flipster
• Infobase Learning Cloud
• Infobase Today's Science
• Weston Woods Plus

Flipster - Please refer to a past blog post regarding the non-renewal of Flipster for FY2025. 

Infobase Learning Cloud (previously known as Hoonuit) and Infobase Today's Science have both seen a steady decline in usage the last several fiscal years. The content offered in Infobase Learning Cloud is similar to the content provided by LinkedIn Learning. 

Weston Woods Plus is a supplement to the popular Bookflix eResource. Weston Woods Plus provides access to content not available in Bookflix. Forty five percent of the Weston Woods Plus usage in FY2024 (to date) came in November 2023. Bookflix continues to be a very popular resource with patrons and will continue for FY2025.

A portion of the funding used for these discontinued resources will go toward an expansion of iVox for FY2025. iVox is an online version of the popular Vox Easy Read-a-longs. iVox can be a unique experience for a patron, as the stories are partially animated, and if a patron's device has the capability, the perspective of the animation will change as the device is moved and tilted. We will be increasing our iVox collection from 24 titles to 40 titles for FY2025. This will provide an increased collection for patrons desiring more digital content.
