Library Board Meeting - Cumming Roof Project

At today's Library Board meeting, the board discussed two options regarding the Cumming roof.  Option 1 was to repair the two areas that are in the worst shape.  Option 2 was to repair/replace the entire roof.  After some discussion, the board decided to move forward with Option 2.  Now we will start the procurement for design services.  The design services will give us the plans for the new roof configuration.  Once we have the design, we will then release the RFP for the work.  We expect it to take 2 (estimated) months for the design services and then 3-4 (estimated) months for the RFP process.  Once we have the vendor selected, we will bring the request to the Forsyth County Commissioners and the Library Board for approval.
